If you don't need to make 4K videos, the advanced is a good choice.

I already enjoy this copter very much and it is very suitable for beginners.
However, I also recommend studying the functions carefully, I am glad that spare propellers were included ;-)

Makes fun
This copter is not cheap, but price/performance is justified!
The camera mount (gimbal) can break off in a crash (it happened to me), then it becomes expensive. You can't find spare parts for it. DJI support doesn't supply spare parts for it either. The complete HD camera costs at least CHF 400.-, the 4k camera is available from CHF 550.-.

Contra
- No propeller guard included (must be purchased separately - highly recommended!)
- Additional batteries relatively expensive
- No individual parts available for the camera mount (gimbal only available complete incl. camera)
- Propeller + protection must be removed so that the copter can be transported in the backpack
- Firmware updates somewhat cumbersome and annoying (constant beep)
