    Can't keep its promises at all: only HD resolution

    The claim "resolution up to 2560 x 1600 @ 60 Hz (depending on the system and the connected hardware)" belongs to the category "If my aunt had wheels, she would be an omnibus". For that it would need dual-link DVI, and as I had to learn, for dual-link DVI with HDMI as the source you need an active adapter. This cable does have a plug that looks like dual-link DVI, but a plug without the necessary connections doesn't help: HDMI has 19 pins, dual-link DVI has 25.

    Which actually works if you need a higher resolution, also from Delock (but with Displayport, which is what my screen had):

    With this I get 2560x1440 at 60 hertz.

    There are also active adapters for DVI, but they are a bit harder to find.
