    I was a bit naive to expect that two monitors could be operated simultaneously with this adapter. This is definitely not possible, and I also suspect that this adapter only supports Displayport 1.1.
    The product description     is a bit vague here.

    When two monitors are connected at the same time, I got an additional "not recognised" display in the monitor detection.

    I bought a corresponding cable from Mini-Displayport to the desired connection in each case. This works much better and takes up less space.
    I now only use the adaptor when I encounter a monitor on the road where there is no corresponding cable.

    Does what it's supposed to. Got almost the same part from Ali, cost ¼ of that.
