  Use of all ports on a MacBook with ext. screen not possible

  If a MacBook with an external screen is in use, not all connections can be used: e.g. Ethernet must still be operated separately. This is incomprehensible at this price. In addition, the docking station gets extremely hot.

  Super docking station but...

  Good docking station. With direct connection to the laptop, everything worked perfectly (USB devices, network connection, screen via HDMI).
  Since the connection cable is very short, I bought a Delock USB-C extension cable. With this cable, the network and HDMI continued to work perfectly. But the USB devices were no longer recognised.  more

  You can find almost the same way cheaper if you don't need DisplayPort, doesn't work with 4k

  It isn't new product: there are small scratches all over it.
  But it works and I had no time to return it.
  Also be aware that it supports only 4k maximum resolution, so there is no chance to connect two 2560x1440 screens.
  
  Also I didn't managed to make it work with one 3840x2160 screen. Display Port just fails, HDMI works, but with a lot of randomly flashing dots all over the screen. more
