I have also installed 16GB of the bars. The mainboard is an "Asus Z68 Pro/Gen3". Since the Vengeance support XMP, you simply switch to the X.M.P. profile in the bios, the motherboard then automatically makes the correct settings and adjusts the clock to 1600 MHz. Another positive feature is the low profile, which was my main reason for buying it. I have the "Dark Rock Advanced C1" as my CPU fan and didn't want to take the risk that the memory wouldn't fit under the fan during assembly. And it was the right decision, the combination "Asus Z68" + "Dark Rock Advanced C1" + "Corsair Vengeance Low Profile" fits together perfectly. Add to that the very fair purchase price, a clear recommendation.

I have 16 GB of the bars in my system, and so far everything is running smoothly. I had to resort to the low profile because of the size of the CPU cooler. The ones with headspreader would not have fit on it, or would have got in the way of the CPU fan. Actually, you always have to set the clock in the BIOS. With deviating standard clocks.

Runs great! I had to manually set it to 1600 in the BIOS, but it was already running smoothly.
