    Good price-performance ratio.

    Surprisingly good image quality, even in low light. Finally fast shutter release possible with a compact camera, fast zoom, ideal zoom range for animal photos at long distance. Good camera for travelling without heavy weight, also for demanding female photographers.
    Good quality video recordings.

    Great camera, great price/performance ratio

    Before the G3X I had the G1X. I deliberately changed to the G3X because the zoom range of the G1X was not enough for me. I am now totally happy with the G3X. Although the camera is quite big (almost DSLR size), it offers everything an ambitious amateur could wish for.

    • Battery rather undersized (definitely buy a second one)

    It's worth buying.

    Great piece of equipment, not far from an SLR. Image quality 1a, the zoom lens impressively strong. It's just a shame that you have to buy the lens hood separately.
