    Purchase recommendation

    A good sharp lens, I have a lot of fun with it.

    Pro

    • Sharpness
    • hardly any vignetting
    • gives nice stars from highlights at small aperture
    • zoom ring & focus ring turn very precise and fine
    • feels very high quality although not from L-series
    • zoom range and above mentioned features made it my almost daily companion

    Contra

    • no sunshade... there must really be something going on that this piece of plastic is simply included
