  I received the Canon Legria HFG26 camcorder just 14 days ago. I can only give an assessment once the device has been extensively tested in practice. That is, after about 3 months of use under various conditions and situations. Only then can I give a serious evaluation. I had been using a Canon Legria HF16 for 8 years and I am very satisfied with the previous model. Since the Legria HF16 had no optical viewfinder I decided to buy the Legria HF-G26, this has an optical viewfinder, accessory shoe, 2 memory card slots, lens hood and is with approx. 800g better in the hand than the predecessor model. At a later date after longer use I will be happy to rate the device. more
