    Great network printer

    Great network printer, first had the Fujitsu ScanSnap 5000, and after 2 weeks of frustration sold it again and bought this one. For my needs as an autonomous network printer it is far superior, here you can define more than 40 "destinations" for the scan directly on the device as shortcuts, different email addresses, network folders, SharePoint, etc. Ideal for a household or a group, but also for a single user, 

    Pro

    • Set up and manage via browser
    • Shortcuts on the device
    • Fast scan
    • Autonomous operation (without PC)
    • Multiple "destinations", (email, network, PC, Sharepoint, Dropbox, etc)

    Contra

    • Lack of documentation on how to mount different network drives (trial and error)

    Good scanner

    Good scanner that does what it's supposed to. Important highlights for us as a small company:
    Scans to the network without a PC running (unlike Fujitsu ScanSnap 5000).
    Scans to Nas
    Email function
    Good scan quality
    Good     software package (Abby) with OCR function and installable on several PCs
    Touchscreen (Unlike Fujitsu ScanSnap 5000)
    Shortcuts
    Can be integrated into the network with configuration option via web interface

    Conclusion: Has everything we need.....
