    CALL RECOMMENDATION

Certainly unsuitable as real lightning protection (there are more effective measures for this, which should also be taken if real lightning protection is required) But short-term overvoltages caused by distant discharges or by defective electrical equipment in the vicinity, as well as static discharges in the vicinity are (so far) well intercepted. It gets a bit tight with large power supplies, so you might not be able to use a plug. The point deduction is for the somewhat too high price.

    Reliable and useful

We use the power strip for our music system, amplifiers and other instruments in the band rehearsal room. Due to the high activity in the building, we have noticed a lot of noise. The power strip reduces such influences quite well. In addition, we generally have a cleaner sound, without too much background noise. The fact that all the equipment is even better protected also suits us very well.

    Pro

    • Many slots
    • Reliable shielding
    • No more interference with our music equipment

    Positive first impression

As expected, good hardware quality. Always had a crackle in the active monitors when certain light switches in the next room were activated; This crackle is no longer audible since using the power strip. The backup functions I could not yet test (fortunately).

    • Processing
    • 3m cable
    • well mountable
