Sound system for the living room with audiophile character

...even for audiophiles!!! Why is that? Well, a little explanation for the willing reader ;-)
For now: I did NOT buy the Bose setup from digitec, although digitec is normally always my supplier. Nevertheless, a short review
    here...

If you want an unobtrusive, really great sounding setup for movies, TV AND music, the Bose Soundtouch should be on your short list!
About the setup: Soundtouch 300 + Acoustimass 300 + Invisible speakers.
Unobtrusive: The system integrates perfectly into a living room without the speakers taking over visual dominance.
Film/TV: What comes out of the little Memrans is a real hit. Great intelligibility of voices, deep but not buzzing bass (more on that later) and a very good 'pseudo' 5.1 surround experience!
Music: Really impressive! I've had many audiophile speakers from KEF to B&O to Sonus Faber, but what Bose does here is really great. Listening to music is an experience, especially with well-mixed live recordings.
Acoustimass: I've known Bose for a long time and unfortunately they've never been convincing on a musical level. This combo is different! The Acoustimass is actually very well tuned, does not lay on too thick with bass, but integrates itself into the wide stage with a deep underpainting. Very good! For films, however, the sub brings the right low end.
Connection: Contrary to other experiences, I can describe the connection with the sub and rear as very stable and the app is also fast and stable (not like B&O, sorry).

The Soundtouch alone already gives you a very wide stage and also sets itself off very well with films. Nevertheless, I was amazed at the extra sound that the Acoustimass plus Invisible Speakers bring to the room.
Therefore: ~1800.- SFr. is a penny, but you really get a lot for it. In terms of sound, the system also blows away many more expensive speakers. In this sense: Sonos, a worthy competitor is on the market!
