When speaker is in dock with the charging cable plugged into a wall power outlet and the audio AUX cable plugged into a computer it emits a horrible buzz if computer is on idle. Evidently this is caused by a ground loop, and is solved by plugging the USB power to the dock into the computer.
The sound is not amazing, but has some special engineering from Bose to make it seem larger than it is, and it's decent, if not a bit bass heavy/muddy. If you value the small size and portability, this is useful. Don't get it if you must have high quality sound.Pro
