No USB-C socket is simply a no-go!
The USB-C standard was released in 2014 and there is simply no argument today to bring and keep a device with a micro-USB port on the market!!! Bose, shame on you!
Ok, the speaker was launched in 2017, but the standard had already been specified for 5 years and only cheap suppliers installed micro USB because they could save a few cents. Today, USB-C sockets are no longer a price issue anyway.
A premium manufacturer like Bose should simply be ashamed to sell such cheese. It's simply not sustainable, because micro USB sockets break over time, are very difficult to clean and for people like me who have long since switched everything to USB-C, it's just annoying to still have old cables with you when you're on the go to be able to quickly charge the speaker from time to time.
I tested the speaker, but will refuse to buy it, even though I think it's the best on the market in this size and weight.
Luckily the EU will soon ban such shenanigans. But I suspect that Bose will be allowed to keep the product on the market for a long time to come

Awesome sound from such a small device - the carrying/hanging/whatever it is supposed to be implement could be designed a little better - unless I missed the point??
