    I would buy it again immediately because I find the processing of the weather data via the API interface ingenious.

    I am absolutely thrilled. Thanks to Bloomsky's Web API, I can use a PHP script running on a Synology to automatically read out the weather data every 5 minutes and then send it to a LaMetric display, where the weather data is shown with icons, etc. This automated solution even pleases my wife. Even my wife likes this automated solution. 

    Pro

    • Web API provided by Bloomsky
    • Solar panel works very well, battery is always full (until now)
    • No WLAN reception problems so far
    • Processing quality seems to be very good to me
    • HD camera takes great pictures
    • App on Android and iPhone work without problems

    Contra

    • Price. But the possibilities with the Web API justify the price if you want to use it.

    Good weather station which always gives me a nice view of the current mountain weather. The BloomSky network is available worldwide.

    Only WLAN reception is required and the weather station is up and running. The product, designed for the American market, runs smoothly and provides a new view of the weather with the sky camera.

    • Only add WLAN
    • Has been running for over a year (in the mountain hut)

    Contra

    • Focused on the American market (standard units are not to be converted to metric)
    • Inaccurate sensors
