Unfortunately, the battery failed 2 weeks after the end of the warranty (2 years). According to the feedback from Benq, it was the power supply card. And this doesn't seem to be an isolated case, as I found another similar case on the internet, again with the power supply card (and the person said she had seen other similar cases on the internet herself).
The electronics have been around for decades and are stable today, so either it's a poor initial design, or the components are chosen from the best available, even for the slightly higher end projectors of the brand, leaving them with a very short lifespan.
It's a pity, because the picture was perfect, but it seems that this failure happens too often, which is not acceptable.
So I can't recommend it, as it's starting to cost a lot of money compared to its lifespan

The projector keeps its promise. The workmanship, usability and picture quality are very good. The only drawback is the fact that 3D films can have unpalatable image shifts. However, this is not always the case and it is not necessarily the fault of the projector. It is also possible that there is a fault with the glasses or the source material (film). I still have to check this in detail. Does anyone have experience with Dlp beamers and shutter glasses?
