    Better wait for a mature FritzOS before buying (>6.90)

    The 7590 would not establish a DSL connection with the original firmware. With the lab firmware 6.88 it works, but the WLAN is unstable and breaks off after random intervals. According to AVM, the problem is known, but a solution (new FritzOS or new lab version) could not be delivered since my support request 4 weeks ago. So had to go back to the 7490 as I need a stable WLAN connection. Disappointing.
    Will update rating as soon as a working FritzOS is available.

    Update 25.7.2018:
    With the lab version 6.98 the Fritzbox runs stable apart from a bug in the DNS server. Soon FritzOS 7 will be available for the international version of the Fritzbox, which will hopefully put an end to this mess.

    Only executable with the beta firmware on Swisscom network

    I can't get a connection to the Swisscom network. For me, therefore, a bad buy!
    Maybe a future update from AVM will solve the problem.

    Update 03.09.2017:
    I wrote to AVM support and received an answer within 24 hours!
    The email included a link to the beta firmware for the 7590, which I of course installed immediately. After that, the Fritz! box was able to connect to the Swisscom network immediately and has been running without any problems ever since.
    I am raising my rating from 2 to 4 stars. I would have given it 5 stars if the box had worked immediately after purchase, as you would normally expect!

    Changeover has paid off

    I have been using the Fritz!Box 7590 A/CH for a few days instead of Swisscom's Internet Box 2. Internet, telephony and television work perfectly.
