As expected, the silver plating has an unfavourable effect. The highs play on their own floor, i.e. they seem to be torn off from the overall sound. The fundamental range seems slightly compressed, which is usually the characteristic of solid-core cables. I have a good stranded cable made of pure copper for half the price of the Avinity with much better resolution and a neutral sound. So far, none of the cables I have tested with a much higher price has reached the quality of the stranded cable mentioned.

These audio cables in textile look are among the most beautiful in the range. This means you don't have to be ashamed if the cables are visible in your home. Nevertheless, it is a plastic cable and feels correspondingly like plastic in the hand. A finer plastic with a more textile feel would be desirable.
One should not be blinded by such things as entry, midrange and high-end. Digital audio transmits digital data, i.e. ones and zeros. Either a cable manages to transmit 100% of the ones and zeros or there are clearly audible sound drop-outs. There is nothing between zero and one. Gold-plated plugs have no benefit on transmission quality and are marketing nonsense. I deliberately choose normal metal plugs when I have the choice, which unfortunately was not possible here. The price is okay for such a long digital cable with the nice look.
Compared to the optical 3m cable from Avinity, which I also purchased, this digital RCA cable is a little thinner and stiffer.
