Based on the description on the manufacturer's page, one could assume that the device has an internal battery. It says that you can "charge" the device. Instead, it must always be connected to the power supply / USB. The fact that there is not even a power supply unit is somewhat detracting from the "standalone experience". So we have to get USB power supply units for each of the devices....
We bought three of them to record standalone camera signals. Although we are not even at the limit with 50fps, the recordings are already jerky here. For us absolutely unusable and therefore have to go back!Pro
