    Recommended purchase at an acceptable price

    Bought this thing for CHF 39.- 3 months ago (and now it's on sale for 44.- instead of 95.-?...).
    Good value for what it does and the perfect accessory for a USB Type-C Ultrabook in the boardroom.

    A good quality hub with power passthrough.

    I use this hub at work to connect my Macbook Early 2015 to a 2560x1440@60Hz display. Generally speaking, it works fine but waking from standby or hot swapping can occasionally result in strange behaviour (this is probably more to do with the Thunderbolt 3 support in macOS than the hub itself).

    It's important to know that this hub implements USB 3.0 @ 5Gb/s (also called USB 3.1 Gen 1) instead of USB 3.1 Gen 2 @ 10Gb/s. This means that the four USB A ports of this hub do not use up all the bandwidth of the Macbook Pro 2016.

    Good, cheap and practical!

    The product works perfectly with the MacBook and MacBook Pro (without touchbar). I also use a USB3-DVI adapter so that I can connect my two DVI monitors to the MacBook Pro. This adapter can also be connected to the Aukey without any problems.
