Price could be half and it would still be too expensive

The device fulfills what it 'promises' however, every word and every functionality is put on the gold scale. What is not explicitly mentioned, does not exist. What is explicitly mentioned is not an additional function, but the only functionality that exists (Thus, the "external remote port selector" is not a great alternative to pressing a switch on the device, but the only way to change the port!)

The workmanship is as cheap as it looks just 'good'. The LEDs are mounted directly on the PCB and the top of the plastic case is a tinted piece of acrylic glass through which the LEDs shine. The whole lighting concept seems to be more of an afterthought.

The built-in circuitry is so minimally designed that one wonders if anyone in the design department has ever used the device. The device can't distinguish between occupied and unoccupied ports, so you're always switching through all possible end devices (no matter if a cable is connected or if a computer is switched off; i.e. if you have 2 devices, it's recommended to leave out one port and get used to a double-click circuit...).

The device and the switch are too 'light' and like to be shifted by the weight of the included cables and their positioning. I recommend gluing the device to the table (and the switch to the device itself to prevent loss...).

End devices are not explicitly numbered (the numbers on the top of the device, corresponding to the port position from left to right, when viewed from the top front).

Wider USB devices (e.g. sticks) block adjacent USB ports.

The micro USB port is on the front side, the port switcher port is on the back side of the device. Thus, the permanent power cable is right next to all the USB devices, some of which are only connected temporarily, making the limited space even more restricted.

    Pro

    • USB-3.0 works
    • USB-3.0 cable included

    Contra

    • Micro USB cable for external power supply not included
    • External power supply required for power-over USB devices (e.g. gaming mouse)
    • End device switching only possible via included "external remote port selector
    • Device and "external remote port selector" are extremely cheaply made
    • Stupid switch can't distinguish if a device is connected or not
    • LEDs directly on board, status lights look cheap
    • Ports not clearly numbered
    • No space for wider USB form factors (e.g. USB sticks)

    Works perfectly

The keyboard, mouse and webcam are seamlessly switched from the home computer to the work computer at the touch of a button.

Comes with everything you need to connect 4 PCs, I attached it to the back of the monitor so that
    the case is hidden.

No more juggling multiple keyboards and mice on the desk, it's immediately more space.

I put a picture of the remote control which is notoriously absent from the product pictures. Its size is about 3.5 cm x 3 cm x 1 cm.

The only negative point of this product is that it is not possible to switch inputs via a keyboard shortcut, as on some higher-end K(V)M.

    Pro

    • Fast switching
    • Compact housing and control
    • Easy to use
