Update: I have replaced the first monitor. The exchange took 1 month. The exchange itself was poorly organised. I received the notification e-mail on Friday 8:11, the post arrived at 13:00 the same day. The e-mail clearly stated that I was not allowed to pack my monitor and that I had to hand it over directly. Of course, the postman couldn't send it back without packaging, so I had to pack it after all.
The second monitor was worse than the first. It glows even more on the right edge, has glow spots in the middle and the frame on the edge is loose (when something is pressed it glows even more). In dark film scenes and games, the glow cannot be ignored.
Not acceptable at all for this price! I first gave it 3/5 stars in the hope that the replacement device would be better, but that was too generous.
PS: Here are some photos of the glow, the very ''dark'' one is exaggerated because of the camera, but the others look pretty much the same as I see them.

I bought this monitor at Fust because it was not available at digitec for a long time.
A masterpiece! - A monitor for many years.
2K is enough. Razor-sharp images/games.
Good price/performance ratio!

I recommend a bigger car for picking up the monitor. the cardboard box is huge ^^ !
My opinion: Per 100.- / one year runtime
So far, all my monitors from Asus have lasted their lifetime.

I bought this monitor because of the combination of G-Synch, IPS and 165Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, I experienced the notorious shortcomings of AU Optronics panels.
Two returns (exchanged directly in the shop) later, I got a reasonably good panel.
Defect in the first monitor (November 2015 batch):
- Massive backlite bleeding (visible at minimum level brightness).
- Yellowish/brownish glow on a white background at certain points of the BLB
- Flickering during games
- LED lighting did not work when stationary
Error in the second monitor (November 2015 batch)
- Brachial Bachlit Bleeding (visible from minimum level brightness)
- Yellowish/brownish glow on a white background in certain areas of the SU
- Glass panel of the monitor was loose on the left and right and caused SU to flicker when shaken.
Error in the third monitor (January 2016 batch)
- Small backlit bleeding on the top right and bottom left.
- I am now using this monitor as the BLB is not noticeable at 60% and there are no other problems (so far).
For this price I expect an absolutely perfect panel with no blemishes at all! This one is a joke. No wonder this monitor is always sold out when every buyer has to go exchange the thing 3 times! LOL
Addendum 01.08.17:
Since I own a PS4 and a Nintendo Switch, I wanted to save myself the hassle of reconnecting cables, so I bought an HDMI Siwtch. The monitor gets NO audio through the Switch and the Nintendo Switch console is not even recognised. Directly connected everything works 100%. My other monitor works 100% with the HDMI Switch, just not this monitor!!!! I have also tested 2 other Cheapo Switches, which work normally...
