Optimal for daily work and some converting / graphics editing

Delivery: Device was simply but securely packed in the box from digitec. Apple's packaging as usual with design. A pleasure to unpack!

Scope: Apple MacBook Pro, user manuals, USB-C power supply with 2-metre USB-C charging
    cable.

First impression: Never had a MacOS device, only iPhone before. As a computer scientist, really surprised how simple and easy the setup is.

Workmanship: Nothing to complain about! If you want something more mobile, go for the normal Macbook or the Air model.

Performance: MacOS and the applications don't need anything, especially if you only need Office, Mail, photos, etc. The i5 is sufficient for these tasks and occasionally converting photos or videos. If you need a virtual machine or even more calculations, you should go for the larger model with more RAM / processor.

    Pro

    • Top processing quality
    • Size like A4 sheet, so very comfortable!
    • Screen resolution very good
    • iOS simple & easy

    Contra

    • 2 USB-C - The nightmare with the adapters takes its course
    • Keyboard seems to be prone to typing problems since 2015 when crumbs/sticks fall in.
    • I was surprised that such a compact device has such a weight.

    Good

It is a pity that the magnetic coupling for the charging cable has been omitted.

I would always choose the Pro again.

The design is, as always, very high quality. For travelling, the lightweight Macbook is perfect!

    Contra
