Proz 5i (dual core) of the 5th generation (today we have the 8th) = obsolete! If you only need it for writing and ONLY store your data on an external HDD or in the cloud (SSD 128 GB, not really replaceable) and absolutely want a Mac: OK. You can easily get such outdated Windows notebook PCs with such lousy equipment for less than half this price.

Let's talk about Macbook Airs in general (up to the 2017 model): These things are just really good. I have a Macbook Air 11 inch early 2014 with 4GB Ran, 1.4 GHz i5 and 128GB SSD at home. I've owned the Macbook for almost 5 years now and the thing still runs like clockwork. I recently had to replace the battery, because after 5 years it's just no good any more, but you can do that yourself for just under 100 francs and with the right tools. I'm absolutely not an Apple fanboy (I only own Windows machines), but the MacBook Air from Apple is simply worth the money. Of course, you can't really do professional image or video editing on it, the display is too weak for that. Nevertheless, I often use the MacBook Air on trips and hikes, the battery lasts almost forever and I can edit one or two RAW photos in Lightroom with my 2014 model in an emergency without the Air getting bogged down.
So you can still use a 2017 model in 5 years for writing, coding and multimedia applications. And a little tip: older, well-preserved Macbook models are available second-hand for relatively little money;-)

Meets my expectations but surprised by the low battery life compared to the 2010 MacBook Air I had.
