    Fulfils the purpose

Since my old, "Generation 1" iPod Shuffle gave up the ghost (or the battery could no longer be charged), I had to get a new one. I use the iPod mainly for sports. Sound is OK, but don't expect too much: 1. Apple :-), 2. no settings.

I think the design is absolutely top, simple, but for the purpose the iPod has to fulfil, absolutely cool! Workmanship as well. As for packaging and accessories, Apple has once again outdone itself in terms of minimalism: old Apple headphones (Apple Earphones instead of Apple Earpods).

Running time somewhat disappointing - especially compared to the old Shuffle!

What I really like is that the headset control (volume etc.) works. Another cool gadget is that the iPod can theoretically be controlled by voice commands (e.g. playlist selection). But since I only need the MP3 player for sports, I don't use this gadget :-).

    Pro

    • Sound for size/setting possibilities
    • For Sport Top
    • Design simple, but meets requirements
    • Workmanship - as far as can be judged - OK.

    Contra

    • Battery life weak compared to predecessor. Predecessor weak

Already bought my second unit because it is unique for its size and weight.

Still the smallest and lightest player, which can be optimally worn on the collar of a T-shirt when jogging, without getting in the way. Well made. One point off because it can only be "filled" via iTunes. This is already my second Shuffle, for my wife.

    Pro

    • Very small and light
    • Good workmanship, good clamping mechanism
    • Top for jogging

    Contra

    • Somewhat cumbersome to load music onto it (iTunes)
