Coming from several ancient 24" monitors, I'll hold back my praise here. 1440p are a good compromise between gaming and programming. Colors I can't judge, I'm not throwing up a rainbow. Now I also finally hear the fan on my graphics card.

The monitor is great for gaming and programming. The 144hz eases a lot of the eye strain when compared to 60fps and the 21:9 aspect ration helps a lot to boost productivity. This monitor also has a rather low input latency for a VA panel and minimal smearing in dark areas.
That said this monitor still suffers from several issues. Games will flicker when free sync is engaged, if the fps fluctuates to much or LFC is engaged. In addition to that the brightness doesn't reached the advertised level, which make the HDR experience even worse than what it actually is, especially since true HDR starts at 400 cd/m² and not 300. The controls are also horrendous to use, a joystick would've been a lot better.
If you're willing to forsake freesync and are ok with sub par performance in dark scenes then this monitor isnt that bad. But since I've been having nothing but problem with the RMA process, I cant recommend this thing.

For this price, this is the best monitor for the money, as far as I know. The colour reproduction may not be good enough for professional image editors, but it's truly enough for the average consumer.
The resolution is crispy clear and at 144hz you can deliciously slice up the demons in Doom. Just like the earth, this monitor has a curvature, or is it flat after all? #flatEarthSociety
