Good screen overall, excellent color rendering after calibration with a Spyder ELite 5.1+ probe, average Delta (on 48 colorimetric shades) of 0.63, correct contrast for an IPS 810 : 1 with a brightness of 120 (screen setting, gamma 2.2, color rendering 6500 Kelvin and white point at 120, setting perfectly ateint) Gamut at 100% of sRGB (and 80% of AdobeRGB.
Very wide viewing angles (iPS panel nothing to see compared to TN)
Super responsive in games (FPS) with NVidia G-Sync. (no visible difference compared to a TN panel)
No pixel defects.
The only negative observation is the lack of luminance uniformity (especially for a screen that is made for gamers). The same type of panels from competitors Asus and Acer do a little better in this area, they reach a score of 3/5 against 2.5/5 for the AOC. But in the end, what is a bit worse for the AOC is compensated by other points superior (but not by much) to the other 2 competitors, not to mention that they are more expensive for not really more.
It is also necessary to have that the problems of luminance are seen when the bottom of the screen displays only the black color. In everyday use, you don't even notice it.
If you don't have the possibility to calibrate this screen it is already fair (for human perception) because its average delta is below 3. You just have to decrease its brightness (set it to 18 or 20) and set the colors (globally) to normal (which corresponds to about 6500 Kelvin or the color of the day) or according to your preferences on warm (in the 5000 and some Kelvin).

Monitor with natural color reproduction, Gsync and WQHD. However, you have to be a little lucky. The first display had strong backlight bleeding and 1 dead pixel in the middle of the screen. The BLB was especially strong in the lower right edge of the screen and weaker in the remaining corners with a slightly yellow tint. The new monitor had slightly less BLB, but several constantly green pixels to the right of center. I passed on a third one because apparently AOC's quality control is non-existent. However, Digitec took both back and replaced them with a new one or refunded the money at the end.

The backlight bleeding of my monitors (manufactured in April 2018) was a disaster. Of the 3 monitors I ordered, 1 was just about usable, while the backlight bleeding on two was extremely sad to see. I understand if this can happen with a monitor that only costs a few francs. But at almost 800 francs, I expect the same quality. AOC's customer service is non-existent and I never received a reply (probably they are all busy with quality control now...).
I then switched to the ASUS ROG Swift PG27VQ, which "only" has a TN panel, but has much less backlight bleeding.
