    Not recommended

    Bought at least 40 pieces and used them for a long time...

    Do not tolerate fast charging (1A and more). Even with Ansmann charger (active cooling) they already broke after 2 charging cycles.
    Batteries that were not recharged     more than 10 times in 5 years broke completely or had a remaining capacity of 200mAh. One of the batteries leaked acid.

    Use precision charger (not Ansmann) with capacity measurement and charging current between 200 and 700 mA.
    Actual capacity of new Ansmann batteries is about 5 - 15% lower than specified.

    Have switched to Eneloop (not the PRO), very satisfied and have disposed of all Ansmann batteries including Ansmann chargers.

    • Self-discharge (not a quality problem of Ansmann, construction-related)
    • Not chemically resistant over long periods of time (not an Ansmann quality problem, due to design).
