    Light but defective charging plug

Laptop is very light and battery lasts several hours, compared to my 10 year old laptop it is very quiet. Unfortunately I could not charge it, the charging plug is very thin and wobbly, which I find not ok for such an expensive laptop. I had to replace the whole laptop and reinstall everything. Let's see if the newly received laptop will last longer now. Too bad.

Very good, only to be recommended.

Top laptop. I bought it as a replacement for a MacBook Air. It was definitely worth it. Good battery, 2 x USB 3.1, 1 x USB Type-C. I can only recommend it.

Incredibly fast, quiet, light ultrabook, with a Quad-Core i7 processor. Stunning.

I bought a slight variant (with the same specifications) as this laptop.

Before I start, let me say, I'm a software developer, I've been in the business for 20+ years, I've been through most brands of laptops, and my favourite
is my MacBook Pro 15" (Quad-Core) before Apple removed all the useful USB slots and gorgeous keyboard.

This Acer is the closest I've seen to a perfect Windows laptop. Ridiculously light, quad-core (?!!) i7, processor, large SSD and memory and Full-HD touchscreen. It is ridiculous, and it weighs in at less than 1kg.

It's only downfall is that the finger-print scanner is dreadful (10% of the time, it recognises me immediately, most of the time, I resort to typing in a PIN). And the keyboard is a little bit plastic, but apart from that, it's absolutely amazing. Other reviewers mentions it's poor 2-cell battery, but I haven't found that to be a problem (yet).

Bottom line: It's absolutely gorgeous. It's what the MacBook Air should've become years ago.

    Pro

    • Ridiculously light (under 1kg)
    • Quad core i7 (what ?!!!) rather than a dismal dual-core i7 processor
    • Double-height ENTER key (really a deal-breaker for me, and the reason I didn't buy a HP ultrabook)
    • Full-size USB 3.0 and HDMI sockets. No dongles required !!!

    Contra

    • Truly dreadful fingerprint sensor
    • Lots of spamware (reinstall Windows 10 from scratch, if you can)
