purchased this productThe greatest gradient between wishful thinking and disappointment.
72mm - that's the diameter of most of my lenses. And that's where handling a lens cap makes sense: you can carry the shards safely and casually do away with the rubber with a deft grip and you're "ready to shoot". So much for the theory. Which in practice remains wishful thinking. In good Swiss German, "e riese Seich". By the time I have pushed the rubbers over the lens with both hands and brute force, my photographer friends are long gone. And it looks saucy to boot. Pulling them off is also extremely difficult because of the tension. The hope that the lens pariser will wear out sufficiently over time gives way to the certainty that this is the trophy for the bad buy of the year, and I rely on the tried and tested plastic cap.

purchased this productFulfils the purpose, but also has quirks
Takes some getting used to and rather difficult to attach with larger lenses (correspondingly higher risk of "falling down" when attaching. The rubber coating also attracts dust as soon as it comes into contact with it.
