Zyxel Multy X Mesh System - Set of 1
In my opinion, this should work because an Acesspoint can normally also be connected via a Lan cable. Otherwise, if the wireless connection of one node to the other is poor, no connection could be established. However, I have connected mine via Wlan. Excellent performance! Even in the farthest corners of the property and the house at least 150 mbits. I have an extremely complex infrastructure (home automation, pool control, etc.). The nodes (set of 3) have a greater range than a conventional acess point, as they are not connected via WLAN! Until I bought the mesh system, I had big problems with the wifi connection (connection interruptions, poor performance, etc...). They have been in use for 4 months. I can really recommend the system.
According to my information, a maximum of 4 pieces (total) are supported.
do yourself a favour and take the certainly compatible WLAN boxes from Swisscom: https://www.swisscom.ch/de/privatkunden/produkte/zubehoer/internet-tv-zubehoer/wlan-box(0000000011024867).html
Hello Glanzan. Individual nodes will be available from around mid-February. Officially, Multy supports 3 nodes (incl. the 2 from the starter kit), but more seem to be possible: https://homeforum.zyxel.com/discussion/613/how-many-nodes-will-zyxel-multy-x-support However, this is not officially supported :)
