Is it possible to connect headphones to the radio via Bluetooth and then listen to DAB via the headphones or is the Bluetooth function only available for playback from the smartphone?

No, this radio does not have an AUX input (the only connector is a 3.5 mm jack for headphones).

Regarding connection to android or iPhones: In Bluetooth mode, you can enjoy music from a connected smartphone or tablet via the DIGITRADIO's speakers.

To do this, the two devices must first be "paired" with each other.
