We cannot judge whether this is worthwhile or suitable for you (operation/scope/type). Technically, it is probably possible and feasible - but we dare to doubt whether it makes sense to attach a network NAS via USB. As far as we know, it is then like an external hard drive and is therefore not backed up RAID-wise = if the hard drive goes down, the data from there is gone...
