Hi. I am interested in the Sonos One and would like to use it without DE account "hacks" simply for listening to music. Do I still need these DE accounts to set up the speakers or can I just plug in the power, start Sonos on the iOS device and go, without Alexa?

Without Alexa, it is conceivably simple and possible without DE accounts. But without using the voice services, the Sonos variants from IKEA also do a good job (based on Play:1).

Hello dear people What SONOS tm can't answer for me, despite repeated research: Can I do something else with these boxes than just play sound from my apps (i.e. Spotify & Co.)? Can I play my Itunes with them? Can I also watch a film with these boxes? The manufacturer's description is vague and only comes up with blanket marketing statements and before I invest money in it, I would like to know. (By the way, it would be a no-go if I have boxes that are "neutered").
