We are not using PIP, but we often use the monitor to put side-by-side 2 window's application on the same PC. With Windows 10 this is very easy, just select and slide the window left or right. Is quite better than working with two screens.
The PIP funcion usualy can be used with 2 separate input (i.e. 2 CP's).
We have at the moments 3 of these monitor and the feedback is positive.

I don't really use the screen for video editing, but I have tried it out. You have a lot of space ;)
