The projector is mounted in the centre of the screen with a ceiling mount, and the distance to the screen is also correct. However, when I switch on the projector, I have to tilt it upwards at a very slant (it is not horizontal) and then I have a trapezoid in the picture.

Basically, the projection angles in the projector are designed to beam upwards when placed on a table or desk (e.g. for a quick presentation to a customer). If there is an angle of 90° between the support surface and the projection surface, there should be no trapezium. If the angle is changed (as in your case), the keystone correction must be applied accordingly. The projector has such a correction

I hope someone here can help me with my problem, as I have not found a solution on the net. I have connected my PS4 to the beamer (Optoma UHD51) via an AV receiver (Pioneer VSX-534). This works perfectly. However, when I try to do the same with my laptop or my friend's laptop, both of which have Windows 10 as their operating system and the latest drivers installed, the beamer suddenly no longer projects a picture. I have already tried updating the drivers, using other HDMI cables and other inputs on the AV receiver and beamer, but to no avail. With my brother's laptop with Windows 7, it works fine. What could be the reason for this?

Hoi, have you tried to adjust the projection in Windows? Do you want to double the image, have the same screen, etc.?
