I would like to combine the NS-6170 with the A-9150. Both have a DA converter. So there are two ways to connect the two units, analogue or digital. With an analogue connection, the DA converter of the NS-6170 is used, with a digital connection (fibre) the DA converter of the A-9150. Since the NS-6170 has the better converter, I prefer the analogue connection. Is my reasoning correct and are there other aspects (for example, cable quality) to consider? Thomas Maurer

Sorry that I'm only answering now. Your considerations make sense and I would also use the analogue connection in this case. In my opinion, the cable quality is not important for short distances, but for longer cables I would prefer the better quality.
