In this case, it is probably due to the incorrect sound output settings on the PS4.
For Atmos to work, you must set the following on the PS4:

First you have to set the audio output to "HDMI OUT" in the Sound&Screen settings of the PS4.
(Provided, of course, that you do not use an optical cable to connect the sound to the receiver).
For Audio Format (Priority), select "Bitstream (Dolby)".

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question. After 25 months, exactly the HDMI output I mentioned blew out. No more warranty and it wasn't worth repairing. I went to the disposal site and bought a Marantz SR-5011. It's been running for a year now and I'm happy with it.

Since the speakers in the HT-S5805 set are cheap goods (virtually glued together), I recommend buying the speakers separately. It's

The Onkyo TX-NR474 has connections for a 5.1 system, which is not sufficient for a Dolby Atmos setup with the SKS-HT588. The receiver in the Onkyo HT-S5805 set, on the other hand, is a 7.1 device, which enables Atmos (5.1.2).
