Can the alarm also be deactivated remotely (away from home) via the app? With Google Nest, for example, I have to go into the neighbourhood and connect via BT to deactivate it in the app.

With the Netatmo Home + Security app, the alarm can also be deactivated remotely. I tested it myself and it works.

Why does the installation video mention that you should install the smoke detector in the bedroom, bathroom, basement etc., but not in the kitchen? That is where I would primarily see it.

How quickly can I deactivate the alarm? For example, there is smoke in the kitchen and the alarm goes off. Can I then acknowledge it and take care of the pot in peace?

Do the detectors also connect to each other? So if the detector in room 1 detects smoke, it reports this to the other smoke detectors, which then also sound an acoustic alarm?
