Hello, I would like to embed the stream of the camera in a website (I don't need a recording of the video). Do I need a subscription for this? Is the shareable link https protected? Can I stream indefinitely? Many thanks in advance!

Yes, that should work. The camera itself has a microUSB connection with 5V at 1.0 A. A corresponding USB adapter for plugging into the socket is already included in the scope of delivery.

I'm not interested in videos - would like to access the camera remotely via the app and see the current status. Is that possible at all? Or does this camera create videos permanently?
