Is this tilt head compatible with the Manfrotto Befree (aluminium) tripod. Where do I see in the description which head fits which tripod?

I think if your tripod has the usual screw mass and length at the mounting plate, this should be possible. Since the head has a medium weight, lightweight tripods are naturally more susceptible to wind. If this is not a problem for you, the choice is certainly good.
