works for oculus quest link. had to restart pc with quest connected and then it worked fine

Would like to use the cable for the Seagate Expansion Desktop 16tb as my computer is not close by do you think this will work?

If the "computer" is a Mac or Windows PC, it should work. My Raspi had not recognised the connected WD disks via the cable.

Lindy USB 3.0 active extension cable in 5m works with the PC from the Elgato HD60S+ but constantly loses the connection after 30 minutes because it is an extension cable. So it is unusable for me.
