I would use the player mainly for audio books. After switching off, does the playback continue from the point where the unit was switched off?

We could not test this, but it is very likely that it will not continue. Unfortunately, we do not know of an alternative, as most devices continue at the previous point unless they are switched off completely.

Can I use my mobile phone to load music onto this MP3 player via Bluetooth, or does it only have Bluetooth to connect wirelessly to speakers, for example?
