This camera model has no pan/tilt and therefore cannot be controlled. It is rigid and must be aligned manually if necessary. The camera web app only runs (at least for me) with IE and Safari. Chrome, etc. are not supported. A plug-in from D-Link is required for live view in IE.

Yes, it should be possible to save recordings via microSD. There is simply no live image possible.
Alternatively, you can also use the Arlo Go, which can be connected to the Internet via a SIM card if you need live images.
