Yes they are compatible and also the fastest option you have. According to the manufacturer, even max DDR3-1333, but this is not a problem, they are simply clocked down.

Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: CMZ16GX3M2A1600C9 are on the "Qualified Vendors List", CML are the "Low Profile" version of it.
In other words, this model is the short heatsink version. The version with a "normal" heat sink has been tested and approved by Gigabyte.

Replacing or upgrading with the RAMs specified in the Memory QVL will probably be very difficult; most of these items are no longer produced by the manufacturers.
On the part of the mainboard, the following is required: DDR3, 240 pin, maximum 16 GB, above 1333 MHz is OverClocking range, CL 7 to CL 9.
The question arises as to whether it is better to work with a kit of 4 or with a kit of 2.
