Have I misunderstood something...? I ordered this sun visor and have already received it. The measured thread diameter is 73mm. However, the lens Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM that fits according to the information here has a filter thread of 67mm. How is this supposed to fit exactly? Or is it wrong information?

The lens hood is not screwed onto the filter thread, there is a bayonet connection for the lens hood. The red mark on the sun visor (dot) must match the red mark on the lens, then turn a quarter turn. Now the second red mark (line with circle) on the sun visor is aligned with the red mark on the lens.
