The TS-251B combines secure data storage and multimedia entertainment in one device. It is equipped with a PCIe slot and is QNAP's first home/SOHO NAS that allows you to flexibly expand its functionality and applications. You can install a QNAP QM2 card to provide M.2 SSD caching and 10GbE connectivity, and use Qtier auto-tiering storage to enhance overall system performance. Alternatively, you can install a wireless network card to turn the TS-251B into a Wi-Fi access point, allowing you to stream your multimedia content wirelessly throughout your home. The TS-251B supports dual-channel H.264 hardware decoding and transcoding, enabling you to easily view NAS media files across various devices.
