Description

Ultimate adventures often take place under the most difficult lighting conditions. From arctic twilight to the underwater world, the ability to handle low light is crucial to a great picture. A new image sensor with outstanding high-speed and high-sensitivity performance combined with the latest TruePic VIII image processor from our flagship system camera offers better image quality with improved dynamic range and improved response time.

In combination with the free OI.Track app, the new TG-5 lets you link GPS, compass, gauge and temperature data to your photos and videos and transfer them to your smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi.

The double-walled safety glass is just one of the new additions to the proven, robust capabilities, and you can pick up whatever jumps in front of your lens. Extreme temperature shifts can cause condensation on lenses. The TG-5 prevents this with double-walled protective glass, which makes it easy to pick up further.

To make movement look impressive, every detail must be captured at just the right moment. With the advanced technology of the TG-5, this is easier than ever. The high-speed TruePic VIII processor lets you record videos in pin sharp 4K and breathtaking slow motion at 120 frames per second in full HD.

Have you ever wanted to photograph tiny motifs in incredible detail that are barely recognizable to the human eye?

The TG-5's advanced variable macro system (with microscope, microscope control, focus bracketing and focus stacking modes) now offers maximum 7x* magnification. In microscope mode, the camera can shoot subjects up to a minimum distance of 1cm. In microscope control mode, the magnification of the screen can be increased to 44.4x* by turning the zoom lever. In addition, the LD-1 Light Guide and the FD-1 Flash Diffusor are available as accessories to help you fully exploit the potential of the variable macro system. Achieve spectacular macro shots like through a microscope.

i

Contrast-based

Focusing by means of contrast measurement at contour edges is basically the same as focusing the eye, i.e. the photographer, without further aids: The image width of the lens is varied until the brightness curve at light/dark contour edges has a maximum steepness. The camera's processor calculates the frequency distribution in the image, and the greater the proportion of high frequencies (i.e. abrupt light-dark changes), the sharper the image.

Image file formats

Image file formats are standardized means of organizing and storing digital images. Image files are composed of either pixel or vector (geometric) data that are rasterized to pixels when displayed (with few exceptions) in a vector graphic display. The pixels that constitute an image are ordered as a grid (columns and rows); each pixel consists of numbers representing magnitudes of brightness and color.

JPEG

In computing, JPEG is a commonly used method of lossy compression for digital photography (image). The degree of compression can be adjusted, allowing a selectable tradeoff between storage size and image quality. JPEG typically achieves 10:1 compression with little perceptible loss in image quality.

JPEG compression is used in a number of image file formats. JPEG/Exif is the most common image format used by digital cameras and other photographic image capture devices; along with JPEG/JFIF, it is the most common format for storing and transmitting photographic images on the World Wide Web. These format variations are often not distinguished, and are simply called JPEG.

Battery-operated

A rechargeable battery or storage battery is a group of one or more electrochemical cells. They are known as secondary cells because their electrochemical reactions are electrically reversible. Rechargeable batteries come in many different shapes and sizes, ranging anything from a button cell to megawatt systems connected to stabilize an electrical distribution network. Several different combinations of chemicals are commonly used, including: lead-acid, nickel cadmium (NiCd), nickel metal hydride (NiMH), lithium ion (Li-ion), and lithium ion polymer (Li-ion polymer).

Rechargeable batteries have lower total cost of use and environmental impact than disposable batteries. Some rechargeable battery types are available in the same sizes as disposable types. Rechargeable batteries have higher initial cost, but can be recharged very cheaply and used many times.

Kauftipp Outdoorkamera-Tipp
Schnappschuss-tauglich dank schnellem Autofokus (0,18 Sek), kurze Auslöseverzögerung
24 Szenenmodi ("Live Composite", "HDR", "Unterwasseraufnahme", ...)
Hervorragender Super-Makro-Modus (Scharfstellung ab ca. 1cm Motivabstand + optisches Zoom)
Zur 256GB SDXC-Speicherkarte Lexar Professional 600x Speed (UHS-I, Class 10) kompatibel
Teilweise sehr kleine Tasten

Beim digitec liest man:

All Risk

6.1. Kein Versicherungsschutz besteht für:
