The Maximum Signal MA3 is ideally suited for small businesses as an entry-level solution for maximum monitoring. It detects impending maximum exceedances in a timely manner and warns through corresponding LED signals and relay switches. The Maximum Signal can be easily adjusted using rotary switches on the front of the device without the need for elaborate tools.
The MA3 indicates maximum development through 3 LEDs:
- Green = Consumption OK
- Yellow = Consumption in the critical threshold area
- Red = Consumption will exceed the maximum without a change in load.
In parallel to the above status messages, relays are activated, which can control optical or acoustic warning or signaling messages, or consumers. The necessary information about the current energy consumption is obtained from impulses from a power meter. For synchronization, the Maximum Signal can be connected to the measurement period signal of the utility's measuring set. If this is not possible, the device will automatically start a new measurement period after the end of the measurement period time.
Maximum monitor with continuous set/actual comparison, inputs for power meter impulses and measurement period signal, potential-free contacts and optocouplers, outputs as potential-free relay contacts (changeover).
