The two-channel Nowsonic Phonix is a preamplifier for connecting analog sources such as record players and line devices (e.g. cassette recorders, DVD players or even musical instruments), which converts the input signal into the digital level in the best audio quality. Phonix is connected to a computer (PC/Mac) via the USB port and can be used in conjunction with suitable software for high-quality recording and playback of audio data.
Use the Nowsonic Phonix to digitize your analog records or tape recordings and later burn them to CDs or DVDs. Thanks to Phonix driver technology, AD/DA conversion at 44.1 or 48 kHz with low latency is possible. Phonix is directly supported by the USB device drivers in the operating system, a separate driver installation is not necessary.
