We have completely redesigned our iconic Launchpad. The new Launchpad Pro now offers RGB LED displays, touch-sensitive and pressure-sensitive pads, and will add character and creativity to your music.
It's an instrument - play with it!Launchpad Pro is an instrument designed for live performance.
The new pads with RGB LEDs glow in the same color as your clips in Ableton Live, so you can instantly see which clips are currently playing.
Simply control everythingYou can play with the grid in stand-alone mode in any music software and with external hardware. For example, connect Launchpad Pro to a computer with Logic Pro and you can play on it like on a keyboard. Or you can connect the MIDI connectors to those of your Bass Station II and play your riffs with the Grid.
The possibilities are endless.
Staying in the flowLaunchpad Pro is much more than just an instrument: it also gives you easy access to all your mixer controls, so you can keep everything under control in your performance.
No need for a separate mixer mode: Just press and hold mixer function buttons (e. g. mute or volume), change something and release the button (s) to return directly to your performance.
Everything under controlLaunchpad Pro lets you control any effect or instrument in performance and add expressive effects such as reverb, beat repetitions, or filters. For super-soft effect transitions, the Grid can display eight touch-sensitive vertical faders with LED feedback.
The harder you touch the corresponding pad, the faster the transition takes place.
Connecting and startingLaunchpad Pro is just as compact, lightweight and robust as the rest of the Launchpad series and can be combined with several other launch devices. You can also use it with other equipment in your studio or live setup. Included in the delivery is everything you need to get started, including cable and software. Power is supplied via USB. Since Launchpad Pro is class-compliant, you do not need to install any drivers.
Just install the software, connect Launchpad Pro and start making music.…more
